01About This Special Issue

Our world was now facing a problem of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, most of which are zoonotic diseases. Every year two to three new infectious diseases were emerged or re-emerged. These diseases have specially a significant impact on the health system as well as economy of poor countries. The aim of this special issue is to conduct epidemiological investigation on infectious diseases in order to identify prevention modalities for those diseases. On the other hand, this special issue aimed at evaluating the existing infectious disease control programs and surveillance system.
