  • Introduction

    Our world was now facing a problem of emerging and re-emerging infectious diseases, most of which are zoonotic diseases. Every year two to three new infectious diseases were emerged or re-emerged. These diseases have specially a significant impact on the health system as well as economy of poor countries. The aim of this special issue is to conduct epidemiological investigation on infectious diseases in order to identify prevention modalities for those diseases. On the other hand, this special issue aimed at evaluating the existing infectious disease control programs and surveillance system.
    Aims and Scope:
    1. Outbreak investigation
    2. Infectious disease research
    3. Surveillance system evaluation
    4. Effectiveness of infectious disease control programs
    5. Disease elimination and eradication
    6. Emerging and re-emerging disease prevention and control

  • Guidelines for Submission

    Manuscripts can be submitted until the expiry of the deadline. Submissions must be previously unpublished and may not be under consideration elsewhere.

    Papers should be formatted according to the guidelines for authors (see: http://www.ijidt.org/submission). By submitting your manuscripts to the special issue, you are acknowledging that you accept the rules established for publication of manuscripts, including agreement to pay the Article Processing Charges for the manuscripts. Manuscripts should be submitted electronically through the online manuscript submission system at http://www.sciencepublishinggroup.com/login. All papers will be peer-reviewed. Accepted papers will be published continuously in the journal and will be listed together on the special issue website.
